Olympics

Have you been watching the Olympics? I'm big on the skiing and snowboarding events, plus men's ice hockey. Curling is also curiously entertaining, especially given its similarity to a rare shuffleboard-type game found in some bars.

Seeing old clips of Dan Jansen, who for whatever reason symbolizes a lot of the winter Olympics for me, really brings back the memories, especially when he's wearing that hideous silver and orange uniform the US used one year. And remember Bonnie Blair? Maybe Jansen was just particularly memorable because he had such a heartbreaking story.
