Aunt Sue, Uncle Bob, Robin and Emma were here this weekend. It was nice to have out of town visitors. We went out to eat a couple times, and also made a discovery. Our yard has lots of chives growing all over the place! You can pick some and it has that oniony smell. Strange... and I'm not quite sure what to do about that.



Hmmm, it seems that what we thought were chives is more often called "onion grass" by residents around this area. Guess it's pretty common. I'm not sure if it's actually wild onion or wild garlic... but since it's hollow, I'm guessing it's garlic. Here's a link to info about both
