It's election day!! I will be voting for Obama tonight. Every day for at least a week I have been contacted by the Obama campaign - whether by phone or by someone coming to the house. They started contacting me months ago. Not once have I heard from the McCain campaign. Of course, that doesn't play into my decision. I want Obama to win because I want him to run our country. I am looking forward to casting my vote and then watching the results on the news through the night.
I'm not looking forward to watching the results come in through the night. Before polls even close in California, they'll know who the next president is. It makes it seem pointless for me over here. People who would vote here in the evening around 7:30-8:00pm PST (11:00pm EST) may turn on the news, see that Obama won already and think... oh well I won't bother to vote now. So for that reason, I wish they didn't report the results until everything was in. Then just announce the winner.

But I'm still going to vote and I'm still going to watch as the results come in. Everyone's wearing "I Voted" stickers.
